What it does

Litematica Auto Ignite is a client-side Fabric mod that reads the loaded schematics and finds obsidian frames shaped like Nether portals. When a frame matches, the mod uses flint and steel on it without the player needing to act, which saves time when a builder is assembling a portal from a schematic.

The mod works directly with loaded schematics and does not change the world on the server. It needs Fabric API, Litematica and MaLiLib to be installed alongside it. Released under the MIT License, the source code and issue tracker are public, and the files target 1.21.11 – 26.1.2 with 26.1.2 as the latest build.

Key features

  1. Automatic ignition

Portal frames detected in a loaded schematic are lit by the mod without any manual flint and steel use.

  2. Obsidian frame detection

The mod scans the schematic for obsidian frames and identifies where a Nether portal would be ignited.

  3. Direct schematic access

Operation depends on the schematics Litematica has loaded, so nothing needs to be exported or converted first.

  4. Integration with Litematica

The mod is built to sit on top of Litematica, which handles loading and displaying the schematic itself.
