Lite2Edit
by Erik-Donath
Lite2Edit lets WorldEdit import and export Litematica .litematic schematics, so a build saved in Litematica can be edited with WorldEdit's clipboard commands and written back to a Litematica file.
What it does
A Litematica schematic is loaded into WorldEdit as a clipboard, where its regions are combined into a single clipboard. Once loaded, the build can be changed with WorldEdit's schematic commands and saved again in the Litematica format. Negative region dimensions are normalized on import, and the format aliases litematica, litematic and ltc are registered for use with WorldEdit.
Entities come across only when their type and position data are readable to the editor, while incomplete or unsupported ones are dropped. Their handling can differ between Minecraft versions and WorldEdit builds. Exports contain one region named Unnamed, while the original region names and boundaries are kept in the data.
The mod works on the server side and only needs to be on the server, so a player can join without installing it. It is open source under the MIT License and depends on Fabric Language Kotlin and WorldEdit, which must be installed alongside it with versions that match the Minecraft version. Files are published for Fabric across 14 release versions, 1.20.2 – 1.21.10, with 1.0 for 1.21.10 as the latest file.
Key features
Litematica import into WorldEdit
Litematica schematics ending in .litematic load into WorldEdit's clipboard for editing.
Export back to Litematica
An edited clipboard can be saved as a Litematica file, with region boundaries retained.
Combined regions
Multiple Litematica regions are merged into one WorldEdit clipboard during import.
Entity import with checks
Entities are brought in only when their type and position data are readable, and the rest are skipped.

How it compares
Litematica Quick-Share Addon is client-side only, open source under the MIT License, and available for Fabric on 1.21 – 26.3. BetterEasyPlace is also client-side only and open source under the MIT License, covering 1.20 – 1.21.11 on Fabric. worldedit terrain is server-side only and not open source, covering 1.20 – 1.21.11 on Fabric, so it works on the same server side as Lite2Edit but serves a different purpose.
