Lexter's Cataclysm
by Lexter
Lexter's Cataclysm brings new weapons, dungeons, structures and advancements to vanilla survival worlds, built as a datapack that draws on the boss-and-dungeon style of earlier cataclysm-themed packs.
What it does
The add-on lists a set of custom weapons, including a netherite sword that fires a blaze-rod effect at mobs in front of the player and damages anything within a radius of two blocks. Other items use crafting grids built from gold nuggets, purpur blocks, amethyst shards, redstone, iron ingots and obsidian, and a mechanical rocket launcher is included among them.
Structures are placed in the world: a small structure holds a large amount of loot protected by two shulkers, and a bigger one has a secret room with a main chest, an elytra and a trading villager. Villages are a good place to find food. Advancements reward collecting dyes and the new custom items.
The mod is packaged as a datapack and requires a resource pack, so it cannot be installed as a loader-based mod. Players who use JEI can look up the recipes. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and every build targets 1.21.5 – 1.21.10 under a Creative Commons license that prohibits commercial use and derivatives.
