kyoyu
by Vulpeus
Kyoyu lets players share Litematica schematics with each other on a server, and it can also run on a Paper server.
What it does
Kyoyu is a utility mod that lets schematic files in the .litematic format be shared between players who connect to the same server. It is inspired by Syncmatica and works with the Forgematica port of Litematica on Forge and NeoForge, along with legacy Litematica and Ornithe setups. Builds exist for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and a version is also offered for Paper server platforms.
Installation means placing the Kyoyu file in the mods folder next to its dependencies. Kyoyu depends on Architectury, Loom and Litematica support mods, and the schematic sharing features only work when the relevant client mods are present. Either side can run it, and neither needs it: a player can join a server that runs Kyoyu without having it installed, and a vanilla client can join a server with Kyoyu, though it then cannot use the mod's features. Released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, the code is open source and public links exist for the source and the issue tracker. Files target 1.14 – 1.21.4 across 36 release versions.
Key features
Schematic sharing on servers
Players on the same server can share .litematic schematics with each other through the server.
Litematica addon compatibility
Schematics can be shared when Litematica runs through its Forgematica port, and legacy setups can take part as well.
Syncmatica-style sharing
The sharing approach follows the idea behind Syncmatica, so players exchange schematics without separate file transfers.

How it compares
Syncmatica is a Fabric and Quilt mod with a client and server environment, under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, covering 1.16 – 26.3. Forgematica is a client-side only mod for Forge and NeoForge, released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, for 1.16.4 – 26.2. Kyoyu is open source like both, but it works on either side and neither side needs it, and it targets Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
