Syncmatica
by kpzip
Players who build with Litematica schematics can use Syncmatica to share schematics and their placements with everyone on a server.
What it does
Syncmatica extends Litematica so that a schematic placement made by one player can be shared with others. Changes to a shared placement are made by switching it to editable on the client, then switching it back to publish the update to all participants. The mod only works within the same dimension as the syncmatic it loads.
The mod is client and server: the server must run it for synchronization to function, and any player who wants to use it needs it on their client. Players without it can still join a server that runs it, but they cannot use its features. Fabric API, MaLiLib and Litematica are required, and MaLiLib and Litematica are the supported companions the author recommends keeping current.
Released under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, the code is open source and public links exist for the source code and the issue tracker. Files are published for Fabric and Quilt across 40 release versions, 1.16 – 26.3.
Key features
Shared schematic placements
Placements can be synchronized between players so a group builds from the same schematic layout.
Switchable editing
A placement is made editable to change it and set back to fixed to push the changes to everyone in the group.
Dimension-bound loading
A syncmatic only loads for players who are in the same dimension as it.
Server-controlled sharing
The server runs the mod to handle syncing, so shared placements depend on the server installation.

Use cases
Group builds on a server
Players working on a shared project can edit the same placements and see each other's changes.
Shared build plans
A builder can share a schematic layout with collaborators without sending files between them.
Who it’s for: The mod suits multiplayer groups that already use Litematica and trust their members with editing rights. The author notes that it gives users considerable power over placements, so server owners should decide carefully who gets it.
How it compares
Litemoretica is a client-side addition for Fabric and Quilt with a required server-optional environment, released under the MIT License. Litematica Server Paster runs on either side, is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and covers 1.14.4 – 26.3. Syncmatica needs both sides and is CC0 1.0 Universal, so it is the only option here that synchronizes placements between players.
