Koreanify is a client-side utility that improves Korean text entry in Minecraft chat and search boxes.
What it does
The mod changes how Korean input behaves in text fields. Korean typing is handled more smoothly, and the IME indicator that was integrated into the text box has been removed. Search boxes and the command input also accept Choseong initial consonant search, so a player can type the first consonants of a word to narrow results. Latin-to-Korean keyboard mapping is supported in the same fields.
Only the client needs the mod, so servers run without it and players join without installing anything on the server side. Koreanify is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and its source code and issue tracker are public. Builds exist for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt. The current release versions are 26.1 – 26.3, with 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3 all listed; snapshot builds are also published. The latest file for 26.3 was released on 2026-09-16, and the mod was first published on 2026-02-18.
