Image Viewer
by shihyeon
Image Viewer lets a server operator show full-resolution pictures to players, rendered by the game client itself.
What it does
Image files placed in the server's imageviewer/images folder can be sent to players, who view them in a native in-game viewer. Pictures reach the client unchanged and are drawn at their original resolution. The mod runs on Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt, and a Paper plugin build exists for servers. Both client and server need the mod, and it is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so it is open source.
Key features
Full-resolution display
Images sent by the server keep their original resolution when the client draws them.
Native in-game viewer
Players open the pictures inside the game, with no external program or browser needed.
Server-side image folder
Operators add .png, .jpg and .jpeg files to the server's imageviewer/images directory to make them available.
