Kill Feed

by Angel6T4mc

A Kill Feed panel appears on screen after a player or mob kill, similar to the feed in a shooter, and Kill Feed is a Fabric mod that adds it to the game.

FabricClient and serverAll rights reserved1.21.4 – 26.2

What it does

Kill Feed lists kills in a HUD panel. Player kills and mob kills can both be shown, and the panel began as a single-player addition for a raining mobs challenge before multiplayer support was added. Players can move the panel anywhere on the screen with the killfeed positioning editor, opened from the K key bind, where click and drag places it.

Which kills appear is set with commands. The killfeed toggle turns the feed on or off, and it is enabled by default. Further commands control whether named or unnamed entities, player versus player kills, and entity versus entity kills are shown, and the killfeed status command displays the current settings. Single-player worlds and server operators can change these settings, and the config files hold them too.

Kill Feed requires Fabric API. Both the client and the server need the mod installed for it to work on a server, and it is published for 1.21.4, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9, 1.21.10, 1.21.11 and 26.2, with the latest Fabric file covering 26.2. The author keeps only the latest supported Minecraft version actively maintained, and older builds may not be updated. The mod is all rights reserved and is not open source.

What the author says

This is a simple mod that adds a traditional fps game kill feed into Minecraft. This was initially made just for single-player use on a raining mobs challenge video. Where I gave the mobs subscriber/member names But have since made it its own mod and added multiplayer support.
