Graves
by efeketket
Graves gives players a place to leave their items when they die, so belongings can be recovered later without being lost to the death itself.
What it does
When a player dies, the items they were carrying are stored in a grave instead of dropping on the ground. The grave can be opened later to retrieve the belongings, and the mod adds protections such as lava immunity for the grave and a cooldown between grave creations. A datapack can change which items are stored, and the mod generates 14 different grave types depending on the biome or dimension where the player died.
The mod also includes several decorative and utility blocks. Interactive display cases store items, change their appearance and emit a redstone signal while occupied. Customizable mannequins can hold items, change poses and swap skins. A Silk Touch and Fortune switch lets players change between those enchantments on a tool with a right-click. Totem of Undying handling is automated, so a used totem is replaced from the inventory or from a shulker box.
The server must run Graves, while players may leave it out; the mod works on the server alone. It is released under the MIT License, so it is open source, and it is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. Files cover 1.21.2 – 26.3, and the datapack is also available for server platforms.

HyperGrave also works on the server alone and is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, covering the same range of versions as Way to Grave.
