Kaleidoscope
Kaleidoscope is a Fabric decoration mod that adds smelting, firework, building block and stick bale content to the vanilla game.
What it does
Kaleidoscope adds a kiln that smelts glass, clay and wood faster than a furnace. Anything that a smoker or blast furnace cannot process goes to the kiln instead, and its kiln recipes are generated dynamically, which the author says keeps them compatible with other mods. A fireworks table speeds up firework crafting, and firework shell items act as templates for different firework shapes.
The mod focuses on expanding the vanilla game in a way that does not heavily alter gameplay. Its new building blocks include polished calcite, brick mosaics and smooth copper, along with stairs, slabs and walls for many familiar blocks. Stick bales made from charcoal serve as a compact way to store the resource. Kaleidoscope requires Fabric API and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.21 and 1.21.1, with 1.0.2+1.21.1 for 1.21.1 as the latest file, and the code is not open source, under All rights reserved.
