Universal Keybinds
by Svenyesyes
Universal Keybinds lets a player save a set of key bindings as a profile and reapply it after switching modpacks or game versions.
What it does
A profile stores the current key bindings. A player who moves between modpacks, test instances or Minecraft versions can create a new profile from the current bindings, or select an existing profile to apply its bindings again. The profile screen also shows the differences between the current bindings and the chosen profile before anything changes, so a player can check the result first.
The mod targets players who use several launchers or keep many instances, where the same controls otherwise have to be rebound by hand each time. Starting with version 1.1.0, the mod is less likely to be affected when other client mods, such as Lunar, replace key components that normally trigger a binding. Universal Keybinds works across the whole PC rather than a single instance, and it is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
Universal Keybinds is client-side only, so only the player's game needs it and servers run without it. It is released under All rights reserved, and the code is not open source. Files are published for 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.2, 1.21.3, 1.21.4, 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2 and 26.2, and the latest Fabric and NeoForge builds are for 26.2.

How it compares
Keybind Profiles offers similar profile saving for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.19.2 – 26.2, but it is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. Universal Settings covers settings more broadly, is open source under the MIT License, and is published for 1.20 – 26.3 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. StickyKeys is open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 and has files for 1.20 – 26.3 on the same three loaders.

What the author says
Stop wasting time rebinding the same keys every time you switch modpacks. If you constantly switch between modpacks, test different Minecraft versions, or use multiple launchers, you already know how annoying it is to rebind the same controls over and over again.
