by jaamleeto

Jaam's Weaponry adds more than fifty new weapons, including tiered ranged firearms, to the Minecraft combat system for Forge and NeoForge.

What it does

The mod expands the arsenal with new weapons that carry their own combat mechanics. Its additions include more than fifty weapon abilities, new effects, enchantments and advancements, and tiered unique ranged firearms. Existing vanilla combat weapons and the equipment worn by mobs are reworked as well, so the new and familiar items are meant to work together through the progression of a world. Weapon skins and easter eggs are included too.

The changes apply to both player-versus-environment and player-versus-player fights, and the mod has an advanced tooltip system to describe the new mechanics in the game. Jaam's Shinerite is an optional companion, and Jaam's Weaponry: Caverns & Chasms and Jaam's Weaponry: Mongoose Addon both require this mod. The mod is released under the MIT License and is open source, with a public source repository, issue tracker and wiki.

Questions

Which loaders does Jaam's Weaponry support?

Does Jaam's Weaponry need Jaam's Shinerite?

No. Jaam's Shinerite is listed as an optional dependency, so the weapons work without it.

Does the server need the mod installed?
