ItemFramer lets server owners make item frames invisible and lock them, and adds a craftable item for obtaining the mod's frame variants.

What it does

Item frames can be made invisible and locked through the mod, which changes how displays look and how players can take items out of them. Frames can also be given a glowing appearance, and item frames of different kinds are interchangeable in crafting and placement.

The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 15 release versions, 1.21 – 26.3, under the MIT License, and it is not open source. The server needs ItemFramer to run the features, while players can join without it. Data pack support is also published, so a server can use the features without installing a mod loader change.

A fix addressed interaction entities that did not despawn in certain situations. The latest file, v2.1.1+mod for 26.2, was published on 2026-09-20.
