InvSee

by Runterya

InvSee lets server operators and players open another player's inventory, ender chest and armor on a server, including offline players.

FabricServer required, client optionalMIT LicenseOpen source26.1.2 – 26.2

What it does

On a Fabric server, InvSee opens a separate screen that shows a chosen player's inventory, ender chest, armor slots, coordinates, dimension, experience levels and active status effects. Each screen shows the player's last online time, so an offline player can still be inspected. The mod also reports players connecting through Geyser, so Bedrock players are included in the lookup.

The server is the only side that must run InvSee, and it requires Fabric API. Players only need the mod to see armor slot icons on the client side, which is optional. The mod is published for Fabric only, for 26.1.2 and 26.2, with v1.6.1 for 26.2 as the latest file. Its source code and issue tracker are public, and the code is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Inventory and ender chest view

Opens a chosen player's main inventory and ender chest in a dedicated screen, with no need to join the world.

  2. Offline player lookup

Shows the last online time of a player, so inventories can be checked for players who are not currently connected.

  3. Status effects and position

Lists status effects with their durations and levels, together with coordinates, dimension and experience levels.

  4. Configurable interface

Language and button options can be adjusted through config, so the screen can match the server's setup.

How it compares

Full comparison

InventoryGive is server-side only, released under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, and built for 1.21.11 on Fabric. Inventory see is also server-side only and uses the MIT License, for the same 1.21.11 build on Fabric. InvSee targets 26.1.2 – 26.2 and is open source under the MIT License, with the same server-side requirement as those two alternatives, but adds offline lookup and Geyser support, which the named alternatives do not list.
