Inventory Interactions
by LopyMine
Inventory Interactions is an add-on for Inventory Particles that gives items new behavior while they sit in the player's inventory.
What it does
The add-on extends Inventory Particles with a set of new item interactions. Its headline effect is physics: items react with movement while a player holds them in the inventory. The mod runs only on the client, so a server does not need it and players join without installing it.
Fabric API, Inventory Particles and MossyLib are required. Mod Menu and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) are optional. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with builds covering 1.20.1 – 26.3, and the license is Creative Commons Attribution No Derivatives 4.0, so the project is not open source.
Key features
Inventory item physics
Items in the inventory move with simulated physics while the player holds them, adding visible motion to the screen.
Additional item interactions
The add-on introduces several interaction effects on top of the base Inventory Particles behavior.
Built on Inventory Particles
Every effect runs through Inventory Particles, so that mod must be installed for the add-on to work.
