InvConfig
InvConfig lets server owners and players switch off individual inventory slots on a per-player basis, so unused slots stay hidden and locked.
What it does
Each player can have specific inventory slots disabled through the InvConfig settings, and the choice applies on a per-player basis. The mod is a Forge fork of TinyInv by Sophka and Nuparu00, and it is open source under the MIT License. It is published for Forge only, for 1.20.1, and runs on the client and the server.

Inventory slots can be disabled for each player separately, instead of applying one setting to all players.
Named slot indexes
The nine hotbar positions use names from slot 0 to slot 8, the 27 main inventory positions use names from slot 9 to slot 35, and remaining slots carry labels like offhand slot, chest slot or crafting top right.
Config-based toggling
A slot is turned off by finding its line in the config file and changing its value to false.
