Integrated Dynamics
by rubensworks
Integrated Dynamics lets players build automated control networks that move items, fluids and energy between machines, storage and the world around them.
What it does
The mod is built around a network of cables and parts that can read from and write to the world. Readers capture values such as block states, inventory contents and energy, while writers act on blocks, machines and entities. Logic programmers and variable stores let players chain these operations into automation without leaving the game.
Integrated Dynamics requires Common Capabilities and Cyclops Core, which provide the shared libraries the mod depends on. The mod is open source under the MIT License and is published for Forge and NeoForge across 18 release versions, 1.18.2 – 26.3. Players can read its in-game guide, and the source code, issue tracker and wiki are public.
Key features
Network readers and writers
Readers capture properties of the outside world, and writers interact with it, so one network can both observe and control machines.
Logic programmers and variables
Operations can be built from variables, and variable stores make those values available across the whole network.
Hidden cables with facades
Facades cover cables and parts so the network blends with the surrounding builds.
Debugging display
Variable values can be shown on screen, which helps when checking what a network is doing.

Use cases
Automated machine control
Items, fluids and energy can be moved between machines, with the network overview showing the whole system at once.
Scripting and remote access
Scripts can run complex operations, and the network can be reached over HTTP through Integrated REST.
Who it’s for: Players who want to build large automation setups with redstone-style logic, and server owners who want a central control network for their players.
How it compares
Nodeworks is NeoForge only, open source under the MIT License and published for 26.1 – 26.3, so it covers a different loader and version range. Extended Terminal and ME Placement Tool run on both Forge and NeoForge, and both are open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, with Extended Terminal covering 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 and ME Placement Tool covering 1.20.1 – 26.1.2.
