Instant Replay keeps a rolling record of recent gameplay on Fabric, so a player can save the last few minutes with a single button press.

What it does

Pressing F8 saves the most recent footage as a replay, and F6 cycles the length of the buffer through the options of 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 and 30 minutes. Each saved file is named with the year, month, day, hour and minute it was written, which makes clips simple to sort. The mod is client-side only, so it changes nothing on a server and joining players do not need it.

Saved clips are written to the same folder that the Replay Mod uses, so they can be opened and played back in Replay Mod's viewer. Without Replay Mod installed, the saved files cannot be accessed from inside the game, which is why the author recommends pairing the two. Instant Replay requires Fabric API and is released under the MIT License. It is not open source, and the latest Fabric file is 1.0.1+1.21 for 1.21.1, published on 2026-02-21.
