inputbooster
by fluxeniteMC
With inputbooster installed, clicks and key presses made during a heavy frame or a short stutter are buffered and handled on the next game tick, instead of being lost.
What it does
The mod checks player inputs more often than the default loop and holds a few of them briefly, so a click that lands during a dropped frame is still processed once the game catches up. Its focus is combat and movement under load: duplicate hit protection, a CPS limiter, sprint and W-tap assistance, and auto-strafe helpers are all part of it, and an optional input replay can record and play back a session.
The mod runs on the client alone, so the server and other players need nothing. It is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt across 16 release versions, 1.21.1 – 26.3. It works alongside Fabric performance mods, and the developer maintains it, with a source repository, an issue tracker and a wiki linked from the project.
Key features
Higher-frequency input polling
Inputs are sampled more often than the default loop, so quick clicks are less likely to be missed.
Short input buffering
Presses that arrive during a stutter are held briefly and applied on the next valid game tick.
Duplicate hit protection
Repeated hits from a single click are filtered, which keeps combat input from registering twice.
CPS limiter and sprint assistance
A clicks-per-second cap and W-tap and sprint helpers work on the client during fights.
Optional input replay
Input sessions can be recorded and played back for later study, and the feature can be left off.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players who play combat-heavy modes on a weaker computer, and anyone who has noticed missed clicks while the game is under load. Only the client needs the mod, so it suits single-player and multiplayer alike.
