Inmis

by draylar

Inmis is a simple backpack mod for Fabric that adds portable storage to the player's inventory setup.

FabricClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.18.2 – 1.21.1

What it does

Backpacks from the mod give players extra inventory room, and the mod is built around that single purpose. Inmis requires Cloth Config API and Fabric API, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Builds are published for Fabric only, across 1.18.2 – 1.21.1, and the code is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Portable backpacks

Backpacks add storage space that the player carries alongside the standard inventory.

  2. Equipment slot support

Inmis Backpacks can be equipped in a backpack equipment slot when a compatible addon is installed.

  3. Backpack previews

Backpack contents can be previewed through ShulkerBoxTooltip, which the author suggests for that purpose.

Questions

Does Inmis need an addon to equip backpacks?

Equipping a backpack in a slot requires a compatible addon to be installed alongside Inmis. Inmis works on its own without it.

Does Inmis need to be installed on the server?

Yes. Servers that run it need every player to install it too.
