Infused Potatoes adds potato items that grant passive effects and timed abilities once crafted or consumed, with the Infused Potato serving as the main crafting ingredient for other Infused Potatoes.
What it does
Craft new potatoes to gain magical abilities and fight with unholy powers. Some sub potatoes activate when consumed, and others, like the lush potato, activate when right clicked. Passive effects and abilities cover timed buffs such as Regeneration II for 10 seconds and Speed II for 15 seconds.
Crafted from basic potatoes, the infused variant feeds into recipes for further infused items, though farming it from basic potatoes yields only a pretty low percentage of results. The server must run the mod, while players may add it to get the same content on their side, so neither side is required to have it on its own.
Installation uses one file that works as a datapack, placed either in the datapacks folder of a world or in the resourcepacks folder. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with the latest build 1.1-mod for 26.1.2 released on 2026-02-21. It is released under the Apache License 2.0, but the code is not open source.
