Hreturn is a Fabric mod that adds paranormal events, haunted nightmares and Herobrine-themed shrines to a world, run mainly from the server.

What it does

Once a player is targeted, the server can start randomized paranormal events. These include signs with cryptic messages, torches that go out, footsteps that have no source, and short glimpses of Herobrine. Narrow 2x2 tunnels, mysterious furnaces and written books also turn up in the world. Each haunting grows stronger the longer a player stays targeted, and its intensity escalates over time.

Sleeping can drop a player into a nightmare dimension built around one of 14 themed scenarios. Physical structures, such as a shrine built from gold, netherrack and redstone torches, boost nearby haunting levels automatically. Mannequin entities add eerie encounters meant to carry the horror tone.

The server does the work, so players join without installing anything, while clients may add the mod too. Triggering events by command requires operator permission level 2. Fabric API is required, and files target 26.1 – 26.1.2, with the latest build 1.1.0 for 26.1.2 released under the MIT License. The code is not open source.
