Home Lawn Security is a Fabric minigame that turns a Minecraft lawn into a Plants vs. Zombies style versus mode, where sun, seed packets and zombies are the core resources.
What it does
Sun Spawner and Brainpower Beacon blocks generate sun during daytime, and the Sun Spawner stops when it is powered with redstone. Players collect sun into bags, and the currency can be stored in one inventory and later spent on seed packets.
A Lawn Gadget lets players add, remove and modify the paths and lawn blocks of the field. Punching the gadget switches its modes, and sneaking changes how the markers behave. Unsodded lawn blocks can be combined, and shears return turf items. Vanilla zombies are dropped as items, and feeding a player's own zombie yields a duplicate seed packet. Bone meal does the same job for plants. Home Lawn Security is client and server, so the server and every player need it, and Fabric API is required. The mod is open source under the MIT License, with files for 1.20.4 – 1.21.11 and the latest file 0.0.5.3 for 1.21.11 marked alpha.
