Home Camp

by The-Fireplace

Home Camp lets a player set a campfire as a spawn point, so respawns can return to a camp that the player has chosen.

FabricForgeQuiltServer-side onlyMozilla Public License 2.0Open source1.16.2 – 1.19

What it does

Sneaking and right-clicking a campfire makes it the respawn point. By default, a lit campfire is used, and extinguishing it clears the spawn. Config options change this behavior, and the config option to use only Soul Campfires is available for servers that want it. The respawn point is blocked from destruction while it is in use, and players on a server without the client mod see an improved message. Home Camp is server-side only, so players join without installing it. It is published for Fabric, Forge and Quilt across 10 release versions, 1.16.2 – 1.19, under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, and requires Annotated DI, Fabric API and Fireplace Lib on Fabric.

Key features

  1. Campfire spawn points

A campfire can be set as the spawn point with a sneak and right-click.

  2. Spawn point extinguish rule

A default lit campfire sets the spawn, and extinguishing it removes the point.

  3. Protected respawn point

The campfire used as a respawn point cannot be destroyed while it is set.

What the author says

Sneak+Right Click a campfire to make it your respawn point. By default, the campfire must be a lit campfire and will extinguish when you spawn, but there are config options to change this. You can also use the config to make this only work with Soul Campfires. This can be run on the server without being installed on…
