Heavy Core Duplication

by CJRVWilliams

Heavy Core Duplication lets players copy a heavy core through a crafting table, a process that needs repeated interaction with the table.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalCreative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.01.21 – 26.3

What it does

The mod adds a duplication recipe for heavy cores, which are found in trial chambers. Each copy is made at a crafting table in steps that require continued interaction, so the player works through the process rather than crafting it in one click. Server owners install it on the server, and players need nothing extra on their own side, because only the server requires it.

The pack also includes duplication for pottery sherds and two balance changes, Balanced Copper Cutting and CJ's Balanced Woodcutter. Default modded recipes are added to the recipe book, so they show up where players already look. Recipes can be viewed in JEI, and any other recipe viewer can be used in its place.

Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the data pack form is available for server platforms. Builds cover 1.21 – 26.3 across 17 release versions, with snapshot builds published as well. The mod is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 license and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Heavy core duplication

Heavy cores can be copied at a crafting table through a multi-step recipe that keeps the player engaged.

  2. Pottery sherd duplication

Pottery sherds can also be duplicated, adding a second source for decorated pottery materials.

  3. Balance tweaks

Balanced Copper Cutting and CJ's Balanced Woodcutter adjust recipes for copper and wood processing.

  4. Recipe book integration

Default modded recipes are added to the recipe book, so the new duplication steps appear in the in-game guide.

  5. Recipe viewer choice

JEI can display the recipes visually, and a different recipe viewer can replace it without changes to the mod.
