Harpy Simple Roles is a Fabric minigame addon that gives Wathe: Murder Mystery matches a few extra roles, each with its own items.
What it does
A Doctor civilian carries an antidote that cures poisoned players, with a two minute cooldown between uses, and an Attendant civilian carries a master key that is indistinguishable from a regular key. The master key opens any room door in the ship, but each room door it opens wears down and breaks after three uses. Doors also hold players out unless the holder is opening a room.
The mod can switch specific roles on or off through a setEnabledRole call with a true or false value, which lets a server choose the role set. Custom roles need a match started with tmm:start and harpymodloader:modded before a round begins, and roles are handed out at the start of the match. The poison mechanic kills a poisoned player after 15 seconds unless the Doctor cures them first.
The mod is built on HarpyModLoader and Ratatouille, and it requires Wathe: Murder Mystery and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL). It is published for Fabric only, on 1.21.1, and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. The code is not open source, and the license is All rights reserved.
