Stone Crude Age is a Forge and NeoForge addon for TerraFirmaCraft that gives the first stage of progression, from plant fiber and flint to the first stone tools.

What it does

Stone Crude Age adds an early crafting stage for the TerraFirmaCraft setting. Plant fiber is gathered from grass, and it can then be turned into plant string, plant mesh and plant rope. Flint is used for the first flint tools, including a flint knife, flint shears and a stone hammer, so a player starting a new world has a path to basic tools before the usual materials appear.

The mod targets 1.18.2 – 1.21.1 and is published for Forge and NeoForge, with the latest NeoForge file being 1.0.8 for 1.21.1, released 2025-11-01. It needs Lychee and TFC More Items, and TerraFirmaCraft is an optional dependency. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. The code is under All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source. Create Hand Crafting requires it.
