Hardcore Revive
by EnotikSergo
Hardcore Revive lets a player bring back a Hardcore world after death, at a price, by teleporting the player to a random location.
What it does
After a death in a Hardcore world, the mod can revive the player for a cost. On revive, the player is moved to a spot picked at random inside a default radius of 10,000,000 blocks, and server owners can change that radius. Items dropped at the death point and the contents of the Ender Chest are cleared. The world can also be converted from Hardcore to regular Survival, with a heart-transition animation.
The mod suits Hardcore worlds that owners want to keep playing after a loss, and it fits survival servers that run Hardcore. The clearcontainer command wipes the contents of chests, dispensers, hoppers and similar containers, and it also reaches holders like item frames and armor stands inside chunks that are loaded. Settings for which containers are deleted let a server keep decorations and keepsakes in place. Hardcore Revive requires Fabric API on Fabric. Cloth Config API and Mod Menu are optional dependencies that add a settings screen.
Hardcore Revive runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is published for Fabric only, across 7 release versions, 1.21.10 – 26.3, with 1.0.2 for 26.3 as the latest file. The code is open source under the MIT License.
