Growable Cells 2 lets players grow storage cells, disks and drives from seeds for Applied Energistics 2, Refined Storage and Mekanism-style storage.

What it does

Growable Cells 2 is a Forge and NeoForge storage mod. Players obtain a seed at a crafting table, then combine four storage cells, drives or disks of the same type with one seed to grow a larger unit. The mod is an addon, so it depends on Applied Energistics 2, ExtraStorage and Mekanism as optional companions, and both the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.16.3 – 1.20.4 and the latest build is for 1.20.1, released 2024-08-27 under the MIT License, open source.

    Four cells, drives or disks of one type combined with a single seed produce a grown unit of that type.

    A seed is crafted at a crafting table and matches one corresponding cell, drive or disk type.
