Graphene
by Tytoo
Graphene is a client-side Fabric library that lets mod developers build in-game interfaces from web technologies.
What it does
Graphene embeds Chromium through JCEF, so a mod can render HTML, CSS and JavaScript user interfaces inside Minecraft screens while keeping a plain Java API. Developers can load packaged asset URLs or run an optional development HTTP server, and the Java and JavaScript sides exchange messages in both directions through an asynchronous bridge. The library itself handles page navigation, input, file transfers, popup dialogs, right-click menus and page lifecycle.
Instead of building a screen from Minecraft's rendering primitives, a developer creates the interface with web tools. Chromium DevTools support lets a developer inspect and debug the pages. Graphene requires Fabric API, and Shlakoblock Utils depends on it. Files are published for 1.21.11, 26.1.2 and 26.2, with 2.4.0 for 26.2 as the latest build.
Key features
Embedded Chromium views
Interactive Chromium views can be placed inside Minecraft screens and controlled from the mod's Java code.
Two-way bridge
Java and JavaScript call each other through an asynchronous bridge, so UI events reach the mod and game state reaches the page.
Browser controls
Navigation, input, file transfers, dialogs and page lifecycle are managed without extra code from the mod author.
Off-screen rendering
Off-screen browser sessions let a mod draw a web view onto custom surfaces and rendering integrations.
Packaged assets and dev server
Assets can be served from packaged URLs, or from an optional development HTTP server during mod work.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Graphene is aimed at mod developers who want web-based interfaces in a Fabric mod. Players do not use it directly, and it is only needed on the client, since the mods that depend on it supply their own UI.
How it compares
MCEF Modern is a Fabric client-side Chromium embed, open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 only, published for 1.21.10 – 26.3. Computerpc is a Fabric library for 1.21.11 – 26.1.2 that runs on client and server, released under CC0 1.0 Universal.
