GoG Sky
by Bedrock_Chan
GoG Sky is a Fabric skybox mod that restyles the night sky with a rotating starfield, visible planets, auroras and larger celestial bodies.
What it does
GoG Sky is a standalone Fabric port of the Garden Glass skybox from Vazkii's Botania. It reproduces the look of that skybox without requiring the full Botania mod to be installed. Visuals include vibrant planets, auroras and extra points of light, and the mod is built for Fabric only.
The sky gains a multi-layered starfield that rotates over the night. Six planets are shown in their own orbits as the sun sets, rays of light move across the sky at night, and a rare rainbow can appear. The sun and moon are drawn larger than in vanilla. The mod is client-side only, so only the client needs it, and it requires Fabric API to run.
Files cover 1.21.4 – 1.21.11, with 1.0.5+1.21.11 for 1.21.11 as the latest build, published on 2026-07-26. The code is shared as a public repository and issue tracker, and the mod is released under a custom license, not open source.
