GriefLogger Rollback Addon (GLRA)

by Pankraz01

GriefLogger Rollback Addon adds a rollback command that reverts block changes and container edits recorded by GriefLogger, and the addon is published for NeoForge.

NeoForgeServer required, client optionalGNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 onlyOpen source1.21.1

What it does

The addon reads the GriefLogger database, which uses the blocks and containers tables, and joins them with materials, users and levels. Rollbacks can be filtered by a time window, an optional player name and an optional radius around the command executor. Before any block changes, the target chunks are loaded, so a rollback does not depend on players being nearby.

Progress is logged, and the work is divided into batches handled each tick so the server stays responsive during large jobs. Access to the commands and notifications is governed by permission nodes, with LuckPerms and other permission mods supported and a fallback to operator level 3 by default. Rollbacks started in game, or triggered through the web interface or API, are broadcast to players, and unauthorized web access attempts are blocked and logged. Logged block placements and breaks can be undone selectively, and the addon disables itself at startup if no database connection is available.

The addon works alongside the GriefLogger mod, its required dependency, and with the Rollback Command and Webinterface addons. Options for the database backend and credentials, the web interface bind address, port and token, and the rollback batch size and progress interval are kept in griefloggerrollbackaddon-common.toml. The database can be SQLite by default or MySQL and MariaDB. The addon targets NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.1, and it is installed on the server.

Questions

Does GriefLogger Rollback Addon need GriefLogger installed?

Yes. GriefLogger is the required dependency, because the addon reads the data that GriefLogger records.

Does the addon have to be installed on every player's client?

No. Only the server needs the addon; players can join without it, and the server can run with or without it on the client side.

Which database can the addon read?

It reads the GriefLogger database, using SQLite by default or MySQL and MariaDB, configured in the TOML file.

What the author says

This NeoForge addon reads GriefLogger data from SQLite (default) or MySQL/MariaDB and reverts block actions in-game via command. It targets NeoForge 21.1.213 / Minecraft 1.21.1 and is server-side only: any logged block placements or breaks can be undone selectively. Its like CoreProtect, but for Modded Server…
