GriefLogger

by DAQEM Studios

GriefLogger records player interactions on a Minecraft server so that staff can look up what happened in a given area.

FabricForgeNeoForgeServer-side onlyApache License 2.0Open source1.19.2 – 26.2

What it does

GriefLogger stores logs of player actions in a SQLite database by default, kept inside the config file. A server owner can point it at a MySQL database through the config instead. Writes to the database run asynchronously on separate threads, so the server does not wait for a transaction to finish before running other code.

GriefLogger requires Architectury API. Its builds cover 1.19.2 – 26.2 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and it runs on the server alone, so players join without installing anything.

Key features

  1. Interaction logging

Records player interactions on the server, in a style the author describes as similar to CoreProtect.

  2. Database options

Logs are stored in SQLite by default, or in a MySQL database connected through the config file.

  3. Asynchronous writes

Transactions run on separate threads, so the server keeps running other code while they complete.

What the author says

To store all of this data, GriefLogger uses a SQLite database by default. This database is stored within the config file. You can also connect GriefLogger to a MySQL databasevia the config to make it run even faster. All of the transactions between the mod and the database are asynchronous/multithreaded. This means…
