Gitdunk's Mining Dimension
Gitdunk's Mining Dimension is a Fabric world generation mod that adds a mining dimension modeled on the Advanced Terrain Mining dimension, reached through a custom portal.
What it does
The mod mimics the mining dimension of the ATM packs: ores from the vanilla set are spread through the dimension in stacked layers, and each layer holds the ore types that match its stone. The first version ordered the layers as stone, netherrack and deepslate; later versions reverse the order to stone, deepslate and netherrack. The author notes that vanilla ore density in this dimension is probably somewhat unbalanced.
The portal is assembled like a nether portal, but it needs at least ten cracked stone brick blocks around a diamond, and it is lit with a diamond pickaxe rather than flint and steel. Portal activation runs on Kyrptonaught's Custom Portal API. Installation requires that library on Fabric. The mod runs on the client and on the server, so both sides need it, and it is published for 1.18, 1.18.1 and 1.18.2, with 1.0.0-1.18.x as the latest file for 1.18.2. It is open source under the MIT License.
Key features
Layered ore dimension
Ores are placed by layer, each layer holding the ore types that belong to its stone type.
Custom diamond portal
The portal takes at least ten cracked stone bricks and a diamond, and a diamond pickaxe lights it.
Custom Portal API activation
The portal is built on the Custom Portal API, which handles its activation.
Layer order by version
Early builds stack stone, netherrack and deepslate, and later builds switch the order to stone, deepslate and netherrack.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Ore collecting
Players who want a dedicated ore-collecting area can travel to the dimension through the portal and gather from its layers.
How it compares
Flowstone is a server-side only Fabric library under the MIT License, covering 1.17 – 26.3, so a server can run it without clients installing anything. Interdimensional is server-side only and open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, with files for 1.17 – 1.18.1, a range that stops before this mod's 1.18 – 1.18.2 files. Deep Underground (Mining Dimension) targets 1.21.1 only, with client and server installs under the MIT License.

What the author says
An ATM like mining dimension for vanilla ores, probably a bit unbalanced. The dimension is in layers, with each layer holding the respective ore types for that layer, nether ores for netherrack for example, the first version had the order of stone, netherrack, deepslate, but later versions will be stone, deepslate…
