GeoSmelt brings twelve ores with their own progression tools and weapons, plus a boss, several mobs, a structure and a trial chamber system, for Forge and NeoForge.
What it does
The mod adds twelve ores that form a progression chain, from Platinum and Deep Iron in the overworld through Nether Coal, Dark Iron and Netherite Ore to Adamantium Ore. Each ore leads to tools and weapons that match its tier, extending the vanilla path from diamond and netherite onward. Ore placement ranges are set per ore, from the deep overworld layers to the basalt deltas of the Nether.
Beyond the ores, GeoSmelt includes one new boss, several new mobs, a structure found in the End and a new trial chamber system. Decorative blocks are also added. The author describes the goal as taking what Mojang already provides and expanding on it, and the mod is based on Farmer's Delight, which must be installed alongside it.
GeoSmelt is published for Forge and NeoForge across 1.20 – 1.21.4, with the latest files 2.4.5 for 1.20.1 on Forge and 3.7.3 for 1.21.1 on NeoForge. Installation covers the server and each player's game. The mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. The author notes that most content targets 1.20 and later, and older versions are no longer supported.
