Ores Ores Ores

by RedFlower

Ores Ores Ores adds new ore types to the overworld, the Nether and the End, along with tools, armor and a new way to obtain Quartz.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverMIT License1.19.2 – 1.20.6

What it does

Several new ores generate only in the Overworld, with both Stone and Deepslate variants, while the mod also changes the output of some vanilla ores so that they drop more items. Tin and Amber are among the added materials: Tin is used as a decoration block and as an ingredient for crafting Bronze with Copper, and Amber is used to craft an Amber Lens and serves as a fuel source in furnaces. Tin Ore needs a stone pick to be broken, and Amber Ore needs an iron pick.

Copper, Gold and Iron nuggets are used in new recipes, and a Copper Alloy is crafted from the materials. Netherite gains a full armour set that allows wearing elytra, and Dragonrite tools and armor are crafted from Dragon Scale, Armour Plates and a Dragonrite Upgrade. Installation requires the Forge or NeoForge loader, and the mod runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge across 5 release versions, 1.19.2 – 1.20.6, under the MIT License, and the project is not open source.

Key features

  1. New ore types

Tin, Amber and other ores are added to the Overworld, with Stone and Deepslate variants for each.

  2. Enhanced vanilla ores

Some vanilla ores drop additional items when broken, adding more output from existing mining.

  3. Quartz without the Nether

A new source of Quartz is available outside the Nether through drops from a new king mob.

  4. Dragonrite and Netherite tools

Dragonrite tools and armor are crafted from Dragon Scale and Dragonrite Scraps, and improved Netherite tools deal more damage and break blocks faster.

What the author says

Note: Its a good idea to have JEI or REI for the recipes and other stuff These ores give more items from each ore, they generate only in the Overworld and only have Vanilla Ores and generate in both Stone and Deepslate variants.
