Geodrum is a Forge and NeoForge adventure mod that adds a dark dimension reached through a portal block built from a Golden Ring.
What it does
Geodrum adds a new dimension that is darker than the overworld, with moderate vegetation, distinct trees and plants, and hostile mobs that hit hard. Fortresses scattered through it hold many strong enemies, so a player who wants to explore it is expected to learn the terrain first and to defeat the weaker enemies before taking on the stronger ones. Later the player can gather new resources and find structures that hold bosses, and fights with bosses need careful preparation.
A new Geodrum Portal Block is crafted and lit with a Golden Ring to open the way into the dimension. Treasures are spread through the new world and the better items they lead to are the reward for progressing. Geodrum requires GeckoLib, and with many effects active at once the game can lag for a moment. The mod is built for Client and server, so the server and every player need it, and it is published for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 under All rights reserved, with Forge and NeoForge files.
