FunEnchantments
by delixfreak
FunEnchantments adds Fabric tool enchantments for mining, digging and chopping, and raises the maximum levels of several vanilla enchantments.
What it does
The mod extends the vanilla tool progression with enchantments that cover automatic smelting, item collection, area mining, ore scanning and tree felling. Auto Smelt turns mined block drops straight into their smelted results, so ores yield ingots directly. Magnet sends block drops into the inventory instead of onto the ground, and Drill mines several blocks at once in a 3x3x1 or 3x3x3 area depending on its level.
Filter helps when the inventory fills up: at higher levels it discards junk blocks like gravel, deepslate and netherrack, and removes more stacks as the level rises. Scan highlights matching ore blocks nearby with particles, within a radius of 2 to 5 blocks. Pinger warns the player when a tool's durability runs low, which helps save an expensive tool before it breaks.
Several vanilla enchantments also get higher maximum levels, including Efficiency up to level X, Fortune and Unbreaking up to level V, so late-game tools stay useful. Forester's Fortune and Digger's Fortune add extra wood or dug drops on axes and shovels. The mod runs on Fabric and must be installed on the client and the server, and it is released under the MIT License. It is not open source.
Key features
Auto Smelt and Magnet
Block drops are smelted automatically, and items go straight into the inventory instead of landing on the ground.
Drill and Scan
Drill mines a larger area in one action, while Scan highlights nearby ore blocks that match the one being mined.
Filter for full inventories
At higher levels, Filter discards common trash blocks and removes more stacks as its level increases.
Higher vanilla enchantment levels
Efficiency, Fortune and Unbreaking can be raised past their vanilla maximums, so late-game tools keep improving.
Durability warning
Pinger alerts the player when a tool's durability is low, giving time to repair or replace an expensive item.
