Frosted Friends lets players build their own snowmen from snow layers, adding a fridge for ice and snow on demand and shovels for clearing snow.
What it does
Players stack snow layers into a snowman and pick its parts, with different combinations available for each one. The finished snowman can be decorated with seeds, carrots and other accessories, and the mod also adds snowman hats that the player can wear.
Pile snow, heap snow, mound snow and snow are collected by shoveling and then piled up. A fridge turns right-clicks into ice and snow anywhere, without needing a specific biome, and packed ice cubes can be used to craft tools. Snow shovels clear a 3x3 area at a time.
The mod is a Forge mod for 1.18.2 – 1.20.1 and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source. Recipes are viewable through JEI, which is worth installing alongside it.
