Frights and Foliage adds an autumn theme to Minecraft worlds, with two new forest biomes, new mobs, crops and structures for Fabric players on 1.20.1 and 1.21.1.
What it does
Two new biomes, Autumnal Forest and Violet Bramble, bring colorful Aseria trees, Marnor Trees and decorative blocks with some new flowers into the world. Autumn Cottages and hedge mazes generate in forest biomes, and chests in them hold autumnal goodies. Two new types of pumpkin grow in both nether forests.
Eight new mobs appear in these biomes: two peaceful animals, two hostile ones, and others that drop items such as feathers and antlers used to make an antler-based fertilizer. Three new crops can be crafted, and some mobs can be bred with the new crops or with berries from the base game. Players will meet a hidden hostile mob that gets aggressive if they break blocks nearby.
The mod requires TerraBlender for biome placement. It runs on the client and the server, so both sides need it, and it is released under the MIT License as open source. Fabric files cover 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, with the latest file, 1.21.1-1.0.1, published on 2024-11-01.
