ForgeEndertech

by enderlanky

ForgeEndertech is a library mod that provides shared infrastructure for the Endertech mod ecosystem and adds no game content of its own.

FabricForgeNeoForgeServer required, client optionalCreative Commons Attribution No Derivatives 4.01.20.1 – 26.3

What it does

Players do not interact with ForgeEndertech directly. It sits in the background of the Endertech mods, and those mods depend on it to run. The catalog lists six of them as requiring it, among them Pollution of the Realms and Advanced Finders. Installing it alongside them keeps behavior consistent from one mod to the next.

Its purpose is to remove duplicated code across the author's own projects, which makes development and maintenance simpler. The library is not written for outside developers at large. Fabric API and Forge Config API Port are required, and the mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.

ForgeEndertech is server required and client optional: the server must run it, while players may leave it out. Files cover 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 26.2 and 26.3, with 26.3.0.1 for 26.3 as the latest build on each loader, released 2026-10-10. The license is Creative Commons Attribution No Derivatives 4.0, so the code is not open source.

Key features

  1. Shared core for Endertech mods

The library supplies the common code that the Endertech mods build on, so each mod does not carry its own copy.

  2. Reduced redundant code

Code used across several mods lives in one place, which cuts duplication across the author's projects.

  3. Consistent behavior across mods

Mods that share the library handle common tasks the same way, so the set behaves predictably together.

  4. No content of its own

The library adds no blocks, items or mechanics to the game; its effects come only through the mods that use it.

Use cases

Running the Endertech set

Server owners who run Large Ore Deposits or Advanced Finders install ForgeEndertech on the server so those mods start.

Building on the library

Developers working on other Endertech mods depend on it to avoid rewriting shared code.

Who it’s for: Server owners and players who use the Endertech mods, such as Large Ore Deposits, Advanced Chimneys or Pollution of the Realms. The library is not aimed at mod developers outside the author's own projects.

Questions

Does ForgeEndertech need Fabric API?

Yes. Fabric API is a required dependency on Fabric, and Forge Config API Port is required as well. Both must be installed next to ForgeEndertech.

Does ForgeEndertech have to be installed on the client?

No. The server must run it, but either side can skip it for players: a player's client does not need the mod to join.

Which mods need ForgeEndertech?

Six catalog mods require it, including Pollution of the Realms, Advanced Chimneys, Large Ore Deposits, Advanced Hook Launchers and Advanced Finders.

What the author says

ForgeEndertech is a library mod purpose-built for my own mod ecosystem. It isn't designed as a general-purpose tool for other developers - instead, it focuses on cutting down redundant code and streamlining development and maintenance across my projects. It doesn't add content to the game itself. Rather, it provides…
