MarbleGate's Exotic Enchantment: Flowing Agony

The mod adds a set of enchantments themed on darkness and agony. Each one changes how a weapon or piece of gear behaves in combat: some mark hostile targets so the damage they take is passed back, others spread a disease through arrows, or cause gravity to fail near a mob. The author notes describe several enchantments presented as a group, so the set is meant to be used together rather than one at a time.

The effects are designed around a trade-off. Some enchantments hurt the player along with the enemy, and others grant strength or keep the wielder in a state of danger. The mod suits players who want a harsher, more dramatic style of combat in survival and adventure worlds. Its enchantments are added through the game's normal enchanting system.

The mod is published for Forge only, for 1.15.2 – 1.18.2 with four release versions. The latest file is 1.2.7 for 1.18.2, released on 2022-11-15. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The code is released under the BSD 3-Clause License, and the source code, issue tracker and wiki are public.
