Flowers Galore!

by Tricangel

Flowers Galore! adds breeding for flowers, so players can cross existing blooms and get new colours, shapes and sizes.

FabricClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source26.1.1 – 26.1.2

What it does

Two flowers placed close together can be bred in a style borrowed from Animal Crossing, and the offspring takes traits from its parents. Some results are new: a light blue colour, a rare gold variant and a shape not found in vanilla. Gold flowers are the hard case, because a mutation only happens about once in 100 attempts when golden fertilizer is used.

Flowers Galore! also adds a larger and a smaller flower form beside the default vanilla shape, and flowers can carry several petal properties at once. A few extras come with it, including sunflower heads, vases and rose trimmings, which give builders more options for gardens and interiors. The mod can also be used for world generation and in minigames.

The mod is released under the MIT License and is open source, with its source code and issue tracker public. It is published for Fabric only and requires Fabric API. Files exist for 26.1.1 and 26.1.2, and the latest is version 1.2.0 for 26.1.2.

Key features

  1. Flower breeding

Placing two flowers close together produces offspring that inherit traits from both parents, in the style of Animal Crossing.

  2. New colours and shapes

Breeding can yield light blue flowers and a rare gold variant, plus a shape that is not in vanilla Minecraft.

  3. Golden fertilizer mutations

Golden fertilizer raises the chance of a mutation, which occurs about once in 100 attempts for gold flowers.

  4. Size variants

Flowers come in default, large and small forms, and a single flower can carry several properties at the same time.

  5. Decorative extras

Sunflower heads, vases and rose trimmings are included for decorating gardens and rooms.
