Floristry
by emirik0l
Floristry lets Minecraft bees pollinate vanilla flowers until they breed new magical flowers, and it adds a magic honey made from special flowers.
What it does
Floristry is a Fabric mod for 1.21.4 that takes the bee-breeding idea from SirSengir's Forestry and applies it to flowers instead. The mod does not breed bees. Instead, two vanilla flowers placed close together can have one pollinated by a bee, which gives a chance to breed a new flower, and in some cases the result is an entirely different flower.
Special flowers arise from crossing vanilla flowers in four tiers of rising power. The lower tiers are mainly decorative, while the higher tiers produce unique effects such as negating fall damage or emitting light that blocks mobs from spawning nearby. A bee can collect honey from special flowers with a glass bottle and bring it to a hive or nest, where it produces magic honey in place of the usual honey. Different flowers yield different kinds of magic honey, with stronger effects.
The mod is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 only. Its code, issue tracker and wiki are public, and the wiki lists more detail on the flowers and honey. The author describes it as actively developed, with some features still unfinished and bugs still being worked through. It needs the Fabric loader and runs on the client and the server, so the server and every player need it. Only one file exists so far: 0.1.1 for 1.21.4, a beta release from 2025-01-15.
Key features

Four tiers of special flowers
Vanilla flowers crossed with one another yield special flowers in four tiers, from decorative blooms to ones with unique effects.
Magic honey
A bee can collect honey from special flowers with a glass bottle, and a hive or nest turns it into a magic honey.

What the author says
Inspired by SirSengir's classic mod Forestry, this one is also a mod about bees and breeding. However, in Floristry you won't be breeding the bees themselves. Instead, you'll be using Minecraft bees to breed magical flowers with a wide variety of mysterious effects. And that's to say nothing about the unusual honey…
