Fight Styles
Fight Styles adds new melee weapons to the game, including a light and a heavy iron sword, along with spears, axes and throwing knives.
What it does
The Iron Light Sword trades damage per hit for speed and quick critical slashes, which suits players who want to close in and fight quickly. The Heavy counterpart is slower but its strikes deal massive damage, aiming at one-shot kills. Each weapon carries an ability, such as a speed boost or added strength, and the regular Iron Sword deals less damage than before.
Beyond the swords, the mod introduces spears, axes and throwing knives as further options for combat. It also adds structures, spike walls and a villager working block. Because the environment is server-side only, players join a server running the mod without installing anything. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, with builds covering 1.20.1 – 1.21.8, and the code is under the MIT License but the project is not open source. Public links include an issue tracker and a wiki.
