Extended block shapes

Extended Block Shapes adds stairs, slabs, fences, buttons and pressure plates for many vanilla blocks, plus vertical slabs, vertical stairs and quarter pieces that vanilla does not have.
What it does
Most of the added blocks keep the behaviour of the block they are based on. Stairs, slabs, fences and walls take the same amount of time to break as their base block, so a plank slab breaks as quickly as a plank block. Vertical stairs, vertical slabs, quarter pieces and vertical quarter pieces are waterloggable, like regular stairs and slabs. Buttons and pressure plates have about a quarter of their base block's hardness; soft buttons such as wool or snow buttons stay pressed for 3 seconds, while hard buttons such as obsidian or bedrock buttons stay pressed for a quarter second.
Recipes follow vanilla patterns, and stone and metal blocks can be made with a stonecutter. The mod requires Better Runtime Resource Pack (BRRP) and Fabric API, and Mod Menu is commonly installed to open its config screen. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files are published for Fabric and Forge, across 36 release versions 1.16.4 – 26.3, and the code is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only. Extended Block Shapes - Blockus is an optional add-on that adds support for Blockus.

Vanilla-matching breaking time

Timed buttons
Soft buttons stay pressed for 3 seconds and hard buttons for a quarter second, with a table listing activation times.
Flammable woolen and planked blocks
Wool and plank variants burn and spread fire at the same rate as the full vanilla blocks they resemble.
Dragon and piglin interactions
Endstone, obsidian and crying obsidian resist ender dragons, while gold blocks, raw gold and gilded blackstone are admired by piglins.
