Extreme sound muffler
by LeoBeliik
With Extreme sound muffler, players can silence chosen game sounds while leaving the rest of the audio untouched, adjusted from a dedicated ESM screen.
What it does
Sounds are selected from the ESM screen, which is opened in game. A numbered button is chosen for each sound, and a marker button on the right panel records the anchor position the muffling uses. A slider sets how loud the chosen sound stays, and a play button previews the sound so the right one is muffled.
Players need the mod on the client, while the server may skip it; installing it on a server does nothing. It needs Fabric API as a required dependency. Dark mode is available and can be switched on in the configs. Builds exist for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, covering 1.18 – 26.3 across 30 release versions, and the code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.

Sound preview
A play button plays the selected sound so the player can confirm it is the one to muffle.
