Explosive Chickens 2: Revenge of the Fowl adds an exploding chicken mob, fake eggs and matching items to Fabric games on 1.21.1.
What it does
The mod adds an Explosive Chicken mob with a blue-dotted wattle. The chicken can explode on contact with a player, with a chance to cause damage, unless it is struck with a Silk Touch tool. Each death drops a fake raw chicken, and laid fake eggs can be used to shoot chickens out of dispensers, which then explode. Fireworks can be attached to the chicken by right-clicking and launched with a Flint and Steel, and the new items carry the same names and textures as their vanilla counterparts.
This is a remake of the official Explosive Chickens mod from 2013, revived with a focus on making it more survival-friendly. It also adds options for PvP combat. Recipes for the new items appear in the Recipe Book once the required materials are gathered. Fabric API is required, and the mod runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for 1.21 and 1.21.1, with 1.0.0 for 1.21.1 as the latest file, under a Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 license. The code is not open source.

This mod is the official remake of the Explosive Chickens mod I made back in 2013. I wanted to bring this mod back to life and extend it, with a focus on making the mod more survival-friendly and add some more options for PvP combat. All recipes can be unlocked in the Recipe Book by obtaining certain required items.
