Expanded Brewery
by lukazilla
Expanded Brewery adds potions to the vanilla brewing system, including status effects that normally cannot be obtained, and lets players combine potions in cauldrons.
What it does
The mod extends brewing with new recipes that many players can reach through ordinary crafting. Brewing stands accept new ingredients such as Iron Block, Lily Pad, Echo Shard and Nautilus Shell, and the new potions use the usual splash, lingering and tipped arrow forms. Potions can also be combined in potion cauldrons, and potion-imbued gear is supported.
Several recipes turn existing potion effects into new options: Mining Fatigue, Extreme Luck, Dolphin's Grace and Hero of the Village become obtainable through ordinary crafting. Pillager ominous bottle drops are changed so they no longer give the classic Raid Captain Bad Omen behavior. Installation needs Fabric API on Fabric and Quilt. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, covering 1.21.11 – 26.2 under the MIT License, and the code is not open source.
Key features
Brewing stand recipes
Thick Potion, Awkward Potion and Water Bottle combine with items such as Obsidian, Cake and Glow Berries to produce the new potions.
Status effect potions
Effects that are normally unobtainable, including Mining Fatigue and Extreme Luck, can now be brewed in survival.
Potion combining
Potion cauldrons accept two potions and merge their effects into a new one.

How it compares
Expanded Potions requires the server but leaves the client optional, with MIT License and files for 26.3. Extra Potions runs on client and server, is Fabric only, and targets 26.2 under the MIT License, without open source code. Golden Potions is open source under the MIT License and covers 1.21 – 26.3, with both sides needing it.
