Everything Ice

by davidsaltacc

Everything Ice makes every block in Minecraft infinitely slippery, a Fabric mod that turns the whole world into a gliding, ice-like surface.

FabricClient and serverMIT License1.19 – 1.21.10

What it does

Every block in the game gains the slipperiness of ice, so walking across any surface keeps the player moving. Because velocity keeps increasing while the player walks, the mod can make movement unstable and hard to control. It was inspired by a video by Fundy showing a similar effect. Installation covers the server and each player's game. The mod is published for Fabric on 1.19, 1.19.1, 1.19.2, 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.21, 1.21.1, 1.21.9 and 1.21.10, and it is released under the MIT License but is not open source.

Key features

  1. Infinitely slippery blocks

Every block is made as slippery as ice, so the player keeps sliding after a step.

  2. Increasing velocity

Walking on these blocks builds speed over time, which can make the player lose control.

  3. Superflat test worlds

Superflat or peaceful worlds are suggested as a safe place to try the effect.

What the author says

This mod makes every block in minecraft infinitely slippery. (Inspired by Fundy's video where he did the same thing) This mod might break a little, when you just keep walking, because your velocity constantly increases, which can cause instability. (Try this on superflat and peaceful mode if you dare)
